Very effective on itchy scalp. I have never really had scalp problems, just occasional dandruff. About 3 months ago I began to get an itchy flaky scalp. Tried the standard dandruff shampoos but they didn’t clear the problem. My wife suggested T-Gel. It works really well. It has quite a strong coal tar smell, as others have mentioned, but it doesn’t linger. Recommended.

Cons:

Overpowering Smell: As pointed out, the smell is indeed horrible. It has a strong medicinal odor that can be quite off-putting. It certainly takes getting used to.

Can be Drying: I noticed that my hair felt a bit dry and stripped of natural oils after use. If you have dry hair, you might want to follow up with a hydrating conditioner.

It does the job, but the smell is horrible.

This is a great product, but hard to find in North America;
The odour is strong but I think that is a small price to pay as it keeps the scalp clean and dandruff free
